Hey there, my name is Scott. I'm from the great city of Dallas, TX and could (and sometime do) eat breakfast tacos for every meal of the day. I'm a University of Oklahoma alum and the captain of Adrenaline Rush, a competitive dodgeball team.
In 2013 I discovered a passion of mine that I didn't know I possessed; making things. More specifically, men's accessories. After deciding one day that I wanted to make my own necktie, I recalled my grandma passing down her 1950 Singer sewing machine to my mom and asked her if I could borrow it. It started with a necktie, then a leather wallet, and then a bow tie. Now I'm looking for any excuse to make anything menswear-related. Everything you'll find here is merely documentation of my journey through learning different techniques, toying with different materials, and just doing what I feel like on any given day.
In June of 2016, I launched my own bespoke leather goods and bow ties brand, Neat Pineapple. I would love it you checked it out and let me know what you think!
For posts completely unrelated to my creations, check out my blog. If you have any questions, advice, or just want to say hey, feel free to reach out!
